国际工学院简介
西安理工大学国际工学院是2020年4月经教育部批准设立，由西安理工大学和澳大利亚詹姆斯库克大学共建的非独立法人中外合作办学机构，是我国中西部地区最早拥有本科、硕士、博士多层次招生培养的中外合作办学机构，办学总规模1200人。
合作高校詹姆斯库克大学(James Cook University，简称JCU)是澳大利亚顶尖的国立研究型大学之一，是昆士兰州建校历史第二长的大学。JCU在机械学、土木工程、电子系统与物联网、电子电气工程、大数据科学等领域具有先进教育教学和科研水平。
国际工学院是西安理工大学22个本科学院之一，本科阶段开设机械设计制造及其自动化、土木工程、电子科学与技术、计算机科学与技术4个专业，每年计划招生280人，学制4年。硕士研究生开设有机械和土木水利两个专业。

College Profile
The International Engineering College of Xi'an University of Technology (XUT-IEC) was established in April 2020 with the approval of the Ministry of Education of the People's Republic of China. It is a Sino-foreign joint education institution founded by Xi'an University of Technology (XUT) and James Cook University, Australia (JCU) as a non-independent legal entity. It is the earliest Sino-foreign joint education institution in central and western China that offers multi-level enrollment and cultivation programs covering undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral studies, with a total planned enrollment capacity of 1,200 students.
Leveraging the first-class majors, strong disciplines, and high-quality educational resources of both universities, the International Engineering College adopts the talent development philosophy of "Morality, Learning, Innovation and Integration"。Through interdisciplinary integration and guided by national strategic needs and industrial development trends, the college focuses on the cultivation directions of "smart manufacturing" and "smart construction." It aligns with the new round of scientific and technological revolution and industrial transformation to promote teaching reform and disciplinary development at the university under the context of “Emerging Engineering Education” and "Double First-Class" initiatives.
