Prof John Ginger has been lecturing at JCU for over 20 years in the fields of structural analysis and design, mechanics of materials and fluid mechanics. He has obtained grants totalling more than $5M including from the ARC and CRC programs. In addition to being a Fellow of Engineers Australia, John conducts research and consultancy work in Wind-Structural Engineering and Structural Vulnerability and has published widely in this area.
